Educational ways to engage kids and keep their curious minds working when they’re not in the classroom. This may include walking through the local park, collecting natural objects, rambling, outdoor crafts, nature trips.

Helping kids work through their maths school homework and helping them build their focus and concentration skills. Number skills are developed through games, puzzles, videos and group discussions.

Through the use of exciting and playful (safe) experiments, children get to learn principles of science. Staff will also work with children’s homework.

We offer a range of board games that challenge your child’s mental ability from Suduko to scramble to Pictionary, operation, monopoly and so much more.

We build on children’s existing IT skills and help them navigate creatively through a range of applications successfully.

Particularly in the summer we take children for trips for outdoor activity workshop.  Activities may include , assault courses, cycling, abseiling, problem solving activities (Walking the Plank/tower building) and many more!

Children will practice creating work pieces through practicing the use of different IT skills. Children will get an opportunity to present their work and enter competitions for what they have produced.

Children will get a chance to talk to their children about the dangers of participating in activities based on pressure from peers. The viral nature of social media “challenges,” such as the Cinnamon challenge and Tide pod challenge, can lead to unwise choices based on a desire to be part of the group. Children will be given tips on good decision making.

This will consists of tips or suggestions  to improve and protect the well-being of children and young people. It will help children develop tools to help children develop a mindset of self-care, appreciation and understanding of them -selves. This should lead to a deeper and better relationships with you people and overall health and well-being.

Although we will try to run this through-out the year sometimes the weather will determine the length of the activities.  It will be hands-on and the children will be able to partake in gardening activities.

Smart Kids has a library corner for kids who love to read.
